Rebbecca is Green Start NZ’s Principal Consultant and Director.

She has experience helping business leaders implement tools and frameworks for a more resilient and restorative future while increasing the engagement of stakeholders.


Clients sit across multiple industries. Her credentials include Green Star Accredited Practitioner (GSAP), Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Practitioner (ISAP), a certified verifier for sustainability with the Golf Environment Organisation, also, the New Zealand and Australian Third-Party Verifier (3PV) for Declare.

With more than a decade of practical experience in assessments, implementation, management, analysis and communication, Rebbecca is able to enable you and your organisation towards a sustainable and resilient future.

Environmental & Sustainability Assistant

Chontelle is a Taupo local who left the Tourism and Hospitality industry where she worked for over ten years in search of a new career path that aligns with her interests for the environment.


From a young age, she has been fortunate enough to experience the great outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, trekking or sightseeing. This is where she found her passion for Papatuanuku which lead her to environmental studies as a mature student.


Her qualifications include a Certificate in Environmental Management, two New Zealand Diplomas in Applied Science and currently looking at papers towards her Bachelor's Degree. Chontelle looks forward to improving the quality of our natural resources for our future generations to come.

Office Support

Regardless of her attempt at retirement, Chris has found herself another powerhouse of support in the Green Start office. 


With a career as an Office Manager and Personal Assistant to Principals in several schools, she is well versed in the wrangling of diverse situations and her ability to pre-empt situations is much appreciated. Chris has a robust background in Office Support, Accounts and Administration which helps to provide a great experience for clients.

Shade is our resident rescue dog; abandoned during the first lockdown; she is now a regular occupant in the office.
